Coho, also known as Silver salmon, is the second largest species averaging 12 pounds.

Coho characteristics: The flesh has a naturally rosy orange color making for excellent eye appeal. It has a wonderful texture with a medium to large flake. Coho has a medium-high oil content providing a more delicate taste than the rich and popular Chinook and Sockeye species.

Perishability:

These items have been vacuum sealed in our famous Gold Foil Pouch, and then gently cooked in their own juices. This preserves the salmon naturally, so NO REFRIGERATION IS REQUIRED until the pouch is opened.
