This product is of the highest quality wild Alaskan salmon.
We do not add preservatives.
All of our smoked fish is hot smoked then retorted in a gold foil pouch. This retorting process slightly cooks the fish in it’s own juices giving a moist flaky texture.
You may store the fish at room temperature for up to 5 years, giving you the convenience of gourmet smoked salmon without the need to refrigerate. Perfect for
camping, hiking, picnics, parties, or your own snack or favorite recipe.
When opening a fish pouch, be careful not to spill the juices inside. You may want to open over a sink. The liquid is a healthful and flavorful fish oil that was naturally released from the fish when retorting. The oil, which contains healthful omega 3, is a wonderful addition to any dips you are making.
Once the pouch has been opened, it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. If you want to keep the open product longer, it should be frozen.
